Green burial offers a simple, natural alternative to conventional burial and cremation that benefits both people and the planet. By avoiding embalming chemicals, metal caskets, and concrete vaults, green burial reduces pollution and conserves natural resources. For many, it’s a deeply meaningful way to honor life, embrace simplicity, and leave a lasting legacy of environmental care.

About the Presenters

Our speakers will be Lee Webster and Sarah Clark. Lee is a passionate advocate for holistic end-of-life care and a nationally respected leader in the green burial movement. As a writer, educator, and speaker, Lee helps families navigate meaningful, values-based choices at life’s end—with a special focus on caring for both people and the planet. Sarah is the executive director of Lotus and Lavender, a nonprofit working to start a natural burial cemetery on the Seacoast.
