“Permaculture" is a thoughtful, sustainable way of living with the natural world and has become a significant movement since it's inception in the 1970s. Amy Antonucci and Steve Diamond, owners of a Barrington permaculture homestead, have agreed to give a tour and talk about permaculture principles. Permaculture emphasizes caring for the soil, conserving water, reducing waste, growing food, protecting biodiversity, and creating systems that can sustain themselves over time. Amy and Steve bring these ideas to life on their property.
This is a walk on uneven terrain. The tour will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, September 24. Please meeting at 219 France Road, Barrington at 1:00pm for the tour.
Please call KK Brown with any questions. 978-777-4584. Limited to 8 people.
