We would not be where we are today without our Founding Friends. These people believed in the Seacoast Village Project when it was still just a concept.  Thanks to their vision and generosity, we are now in a position to serve our community.

Tufts Health Plan Foundation’s mission is to improve the health and wellness of the diverse communities we serve, with a focus on healthy aging. At the core of our work is the belief that older people are a critical asset to building and sustaining vibrant and healthy communities. We are grateful to have received a $10,000 grant to help us build an engaged and sustainable  volunteer base.

HIVE is an intensive cohort-based program that offers staff and volunteer leaders the opportunity to pilot a project that will build the capacity to fulfill their organization's mission. Organizations receive training, coaching, and evaluation to bring their pilot projects from concepts to outcomes. We are participating in this program as part of our Tufts Momentum Fund project, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding member service volunteers.

The Rosamond Thaxter Foundation’s mission is to support charitable organizations in and around Kittery Maine, Portsmouth New Hampshire, and the Isles of Shoals. We are thankful for the grant we received to help us develop an educational series about smart, healthy aging.  We plan to present this to our community in the fall of 2020.
