In this presentation, Dr. Skip Small will explore the complex factors that determine sexual and gender identity in humans. He will explain that the determination of sex and gender during adolescent development is much more complex than simply male/female. His talk is sure to enlighten and inform.

For those interested, we will have an outside lunch at the Tideline Public House food trucks, weather permitting.

About the Presenter

Dr. Skip Small is a graduate of Dover HS, Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Medical School. He completed his internship and residency at Boston Children’s Hospital. He retired in 2013 after 34 years at Dover Pediatrics. His interest in adolescent development, including sexual identity, and his growing awareness of the lack of public knowledge on this topic led to his sharing information with many groups.
