September’s topic: Legacy vs. Impact
We’ll explore the nuance between leaving a legacy versus making an impact—and how those ideas can shape our next chapters.
Death Over Coffee
A community conversation about dying, death, and how to navigate what comes with it—starting hopefully before it’s urgent. Each month begins with a die-a-logue starter to spark meaningful discussion in small, facilitated groups. You’ll talk, listen, reflect, and leave with a few small steps to carry forward.
Death Over Coffee is a relaxed, judgment-free space to exchange perspectives and share stories around the monthly topic. It’s not a grief session, though tender feelings may surface. You’re always encouraged to participate at your own comfort level. This program is for SVP member's and their guests - so register yourself and a friend or family member to join you.
About the Presenter
Laura Cleminson is the founder of the Pre-Dead Social Club, an end-of-life doula, remote caregiver, and hospice volunteer. She lives with her partner, Geoff, on a tiny farm in Stratham, NH, alongside their two barn cats. Geoff’s parents recently moved into a home across the driveway to age in place, creating opportunities for connection with their grandkids when they visit. Laura’s father lives independently in Wisconsin, where she supports him remotely as part of her caregiving role.
Laura believes in the power of community and storytelling. She knows firsthand that the hardest conversations are often with those we love most. That’s why she’s dedicated to creating spaces to “die-a-logue,” empowering others to face mortality with clarity, courage, and connection.
