Denny Chasteen began scuba diving in 1956 during the earliest days of the sport and continues today. Over the years, he has had numerous encounters with sharks, some planned but many others unplanned. Through slides and storytelling, he will take you on his travels to distant places, sharing his experiences with these apex predators and the underwater world in which they inhabit.
Note: This presentation is a continuation of our member-presented travel series which began with “Taking the Measure of Nature. A Kayak Adventure in Glacier Bay” by Walter and Emma Rous followed by “A Modern Adventure on a Viking Ship” by Dean Plager and “Exploring Scotland’s Outer Hebrides” by Angela and David Hiley and Kristine and Bill Baber.
