Get Connected. Get Smart. Help Each Other Out.

Seacoast Village Project is a community of older adults working together to get connected, get smart and help each other out we age in place in our homes and community.

With Seacoast Village Project as your partner, you can maintain control over your life, stay in your home and actively participate in the communities you love for years to come.

Seacoast Village Project members are part of a vibrant, supportive community with all the friendliness and caring that comes from neighbors helping neighbors. Through the Village, members stay connected and support one another with social, educational and practical activities.

Seacoast Village members range in age from the 50s to the early 90s with a median age in the mid-70s. The biggest benefit that many Village members describe is connection – feeling that they are part of something. Village members learn, grow and develop new ways to connect with and support each other. Read more Member Stories

Wondering how the annual membership fee compares to paying for some of the support services Village members provide to one another as part of their membership? Below are some examples of needs that could be filled by your Village support network (included as part of your membership dues) and what they would cost if you had to pay for them from outside sources:

Type of Support

Example

Sample cost
in local market

Transportation

A one-way Uber ride visit a spouse in rehab or go to a doctor’s appointment in another Seacoast community

$20 one way (average)

Light Yard Work

Three hours of your teenage neighbor’s time to do seasonal yard and garden clean up.

$60 per visit

Domestic Support
& Errands

It’s not hard to imagine how with one fall on the ice, one minor medical procedure or a multi-week COVID quarantine, your Village membership would have paid for itself.
